The Garmin fēnix 6S Solar is a smaller-sized multisport GPS smartwatch known for its solar charging capability, comprehensive health monitoring, and durable design suitable for outdoor enthusiasts. The Garmin fēnix 6S Solar uses a Power Glass lens that converts sunlight into battery power, extending usage time between charges. Display: 1.2" (30.4 mm) diameter, color, always-on display. Battery Life (with solar charging): Up to 10.5 days in smartwatch mode and up to 28 hours in GPS mode with sufficient sun exposure. Health Monitoring: Includes wrist-based heart rate monitoring, Pulse Ox sensing for altitude acclimation and sleep monitoring, sleep tracking, and a Body Battery energy monitor. Activity Profiles: Preloaded profiles for a wide range of activities including running, biking, swimming, hiking, rowing, skiing, golfing, surfing, and indoor climbing. Navigation & Sensors: Features multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo), a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, and preloaded topographical maps. Smart Features: Supports smart notifications (texts, emails, etc. when paired with a compatible smartphone), music storage/streaming integration, and Garmin Pay contactless payments. Durability: Features a rugged yet sophisticated design with a fiber-reinforced polymer case, metal back cover, and a stainless steel bezel, water-resistant up to 10 ATM.
