Item Description

Major feature updates for the Quest 1 stopped at firmware version v50. While critical security patches and bug fixes extended for a short period afterward, the console no longer receives new operating system features, Meta Horizon Home social features (like visiting friends' homes or parties), or compatibility with newer Quest Store releases. Meta phased out app updates for the platform, meaning developers can no longer push patches or new software titles to the original Quest. However, existing software already downloaded or library-linked to your account generally remains accessible for offline or legacy play.
