The Pioneer DDJ-400 is a 2-channel, USB-powered, entry-level DJ controller designed for beginners, featuring a club-standard layout similar to professional NXS2 gear. It works with Rekordbox DJ software, offering 16 performance pads, built-in effects, and a 3-band EQ mixer. While officially discontinued, it remains a popular, affordable, and durable choice for learning to mix. Design: Club-style layout including dedicated loop controls, Beat FX, and 3-band EQ. Performance Pads: 8 backlit pads per deck for hot cues, loops, beat jumps, and samples. Connectivity: USB connection, 1/4" microphone input, and RCA master output.
