Item Description

The Pioneer DJ DM-50D is a powerful pair of 5-inch active desktop monitor speakers. They are specifically tailored for home studio use, beginner-to-intermediate bedroom DJs, and music producers. 2-Way Sound Mode: A physical toggle switch on the back seamlessly shifts between DJ mode and Production mode. The internal DSP automatically alters the EQ, offering flat, accurate audio for mixing tracks, or a punchier, low-end boosted response for live DJ practice. Class D Amplifier: Houses a built-in Class D amplifier with 96kHz sampling DSP, pumping out 25W of power per channel. Upgraded Driver Setup: Upgraded from the smaller DM-40 models, it features a 5-inch fiberglass cone woofer paired with a 3/4-inch soft dome tweeter. Front-Ported Design: Grooved bass reflex ducts are located on the front of the enclosures. This significantly reduces air friction and allows you to place the monitors directly against walls or in tight corners without creating muddy or boomy bass reflections. Wide Sweet Spot: Uses updated DECO convex diffusers around the tweeters. This disperses high frequencies in a wider 3D stereo pattern, ensuring accurate sound even if you shift positions in your seat.
