The PlayStation 4 Slim is a 1080p gaming console powered by an 8-core AMD Jaguar CPU, 8GB of GDDR5 RAM, and a 1.84 TFLOP AMD Radeon GPU. It features an upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi chip, consumes a maximum of 165W of power, and omits the optical audio port. The PlayStation 4 Slim is a compact, energy-efficient version of the original PS4. It offers the same gaming performance and library as the base model but is about 25% lighter and 2cm thinner, it also features quieter operation, updated Wi-Fi, and a revised DualShock 4 controller.
