The PlayStation 2 Slimline (commonly known as the PS2 Slim) is the compact, redesigned version of Sony's historic PlayStation 2 home console. Released in November 2004, it shrunk the original "Fat" PS2's internal volume by 75%, halved its weight, and flattened its thickness to just 2.8 cm. Despite its tiny size, it retained the massive library of the best-selling video game console of all time.
