Item Description

The "Spirit of Concorde Mach 2 50th Anniversary" is a specific chronograph watch produced by The Bradford Exchange to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Concorde reaching Mach 2 speed. The watch is an officially licensed collector's item designed to pay tribute to the iconic supersonic aircraft. The 50th anniversary it commemorates refers to November 4th, 1970, when Concorde 001 first achieved its design cruise speed of over twice the speed of sound. Design: The dial is inspired by the high-tech design of a Concorde cockpit, featuring three chronograph sub-dials with minute and second stop-start functionality and a date display. Materials: It features a rugged stainless steel casing and strap, with some variants also available with rich gold-plating. Movement: The watch uses a precision Quartz movement. Case Back Etching: The reverse of the watch is etched with the "Spirit of Concorde" logo and the text: "50th ANNIVERSARY – MACH 2 – 4th November". Collectability: It is described as a first-of-a-kind, limited-edition timepiece and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity
