Item Description
Tech 21 Killer Wail Richie Kotzen - Boxed • Light-Sensor Technology: Replaces traditional mechanical pots (rotary potentiometers) and physical switches to eliminate scratching noises, popping sounds, and component wear. • Spring-Loaded Rocker: Features an auto-return mechanism that automatically engages the wah effect when you lean forward and snaps back to the bypass position the moment you lift your foot off the pedal. • Custom Filter Circuit: Unlike simple band-pass or low-pass filters, it adjusts both the frequency and the "Q" (filter sharpness) simultaneously for a musical, expressive sweep. • Build & Power: Housed in a durable, solid billet aluminum red-and-black chassis. It can be powered via a 9V alkaline battery, a standard 9V DC power supply, or phantom power through a compatible Richie Kotzen Fly Rig (with proper modification). • Intended Use: Built for quick licks, accent notes, short musical phrases, and stage reliability where a traditional mechanical wah might wear out or require maintenance
