This vintage Omega “Tank Style” watch dates from the 1940s and features a classic rectangular Art Deco case design, inspired by the elegant dress watches of the era. Finished in gold plating, it delivers a timeless vintage look with strong collector appeal. Powered by a manual wind mechanical movement, these watches reflect Omega’s early reputation for precision and reliability. Many examples from this period use calibres from the famous “30 series” or similar early movements, known for their durability and long production run. The rectangular “tank” case design was popular in the 1930s–1940s, offering a more refined, dress-focused alternative to round watches.
