The NUX Cerberus is a versatile multi-effects pedal and loop switcher designed for guitarists who want the simplicity of a traditional pedalboard combined with modern digital flexibility. It stands out because it features true analogue overdrive and distortion circuits, while its modulation, delay, and reverb effects are high-quality digital engines. Key Features and Capabilities: Four-Cable Method (4CM): The Cerberus has independent inputs and outputs for its analogue and digital sections. This means you can run the overdrive/distortion straight into the front of your guitar amplifier, and send the modulation/delay/reverb section directly into your amplifier's effects loop for pristine clarity. Dual Operating Modes: You can use it in Manual Mode (like a traditional pedalboard where each footswitch turns a single effect on or off) or Pre-set Mode (where one click recalls an entire saved patch combination of effects and routing). Impulse Response (IR) Loader: The unit features a dedicated cabinet simulation output. You can load third-party IR files via the NUX Cerberus Software to run your signal straight into a PA system or recording audio interface without needing a physical guitar amplifier. Clean Volume Boost: A physical knob on the rear panel provides up to 20 dB of clean volume boost, which can be assigned to a footswitch to push your solos over the mix.
