Swatch was founded in 1983 by Ernst Thomke, Elmar Mock and Jacques Müller. The brand was built in response to the ‘quartz crisis’ of the 1970s. The majority of the brand’s watches use precise and reliable quartz movements, ensuring that they are affordable and high-quality. Swatch creates fun, colourful and budget-friendly timepieces in a huge variety of styles. There is a perfect Swatch model for everyone due to the brand’s large portfolio with a multitude of designs. Core Features of Swatch Watches: Swatch is famous for its fun and colourful designs. The watches tend to be bold, statement pieces. The brand creates high-quality, yet very affordable, timepieces. Swatch watches are all powered by precise and reliable movements. The majority of the brand’s watches are powered by a quartz movement, but some are powered by automatic movements. The watches all have a level of water resistance that makes them suitable and practical for everyday wear. Model Specifications SB03G107: This model features a lacquered black and silver dial with a cut-out at the centre. The dial features a mix of white Arabic numerals and orange baton indices as well as orange hour, minute and second hands. For optimal readability, the Arabic numerals and hour and minute hands are filled with a luminous material. A matte green bioceramic case with biosourced glass and a matte black bioceramic bezel frame the dial. The case measures 47mm in diameter. The watch is finished with a matte orange silicone strap that fastens with a matte green buckle and black loops. The watch is splash-resistant and should not be submerged in water. Movement Type - Quartz.
