The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre S Regatta (Ref. CAF7010 / WJ1316 series) bridges the gap between high-precision Swiss quartz technology and traditional mechanical display design. Powered by TAG Heuer’s in-house Calibre S electro-mechanical movement, this timepiece replaces traditional date wheels and sub-dials with two bi-directional 160-degree retrograde sub-counters. Designed for regatta sailing and aquatic sports, a simple press of the crown transforms the main hands into a 1/10th-of-a-second chronograph or a regatta countdown timer, seamlessly switching modes while maintaining 300-meter water resistance. Key Features Electro-Mechanical Calibre S Movement: Combines quartz accuracy with 230 mechanical components and five individual bi-directional micro-motors. Dual Retrograde Display: Sub-counters at 4:30 and 7:30 act as a perpetual calendar in timekeeping mode, and measure tenths of a second or countdown intervals in chronograph/regatta mode. Regatta Countdown Function: Dedicated yacht-racing countdown timer configured for official competition start sequences. 300m Water Resistance: Fully sealed solid stainless steel case with a screw-down crown and double-gasket pushers. Sapphire Crystal: Anti-reflective, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the deep blue or black nautical dial. Unidirectional Rotating Bezel: Fine-brushed steel or aluminum countdown bezel with clean luminescent markers.
